The dividing line of this decade is not who has access to AI. Everyone has access. It is who can wield it with judgment.
Most training is built to sell you completion: hours watched, boxes ticked, a certificate that evaporates the moment the work gets real. It measures that you sat through content, not that you can apply it. When it matters most, the seat-time credential is silent.
GAGE is built for the other side of that line. We do not measure seat time. We measure whether you can operate, under conditions that look like the job.

Most certificates prove attendance. The GAGE Standard proves capability. Frank Carrasco went back to school for this era, then built the academy he could not find.
He did it the hard way, as an adult, one degree at a time, each one chosen to answer a specific question. A Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance: how systems break. Eight cybersecurity licenses to go with it. A Master’s in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning: how machines actually think, not how they are marketed. A PhD (c) in Information Systems Security with an emphasis in AI, in progress now. And then, deliberately, a Bachelor’s in Philosophy - because once you understand systems, machines, and the people who run both, one question is left over, and it is not a technical one: what should we do with all of it?
The philosophy degree is the tell. Most people in AI stop at what the technology can do. He went looking for what it ought to do, and then wrote it down. He does not study this from a distance. He orchestrates eight AI models daily, holds the Claude Architect certification, flies drones with a license, and has built several AI-native businesses - including this one. GAGE is not a company he runs. It is his argument made operational: an academy where AI builds, teaches, examines, and verifies, governed by the standard he wrote himself.
Ask him why he built it and the answer is not a market opportunity. He got tired of hearing what is going to happen to the majority of people if they walk into this era unprepared - the displacement forecasts, the confident predictions about who gets left behind, delivered by people with no intention of doing anything about it. He decided that describing the problem is not the same as answering it. GAGE is the answer: everything he learned, aimed squarely at the people those forecasts wrote off.
The credentials came second. First came the schooling no university offers: a sales floor young, then a Series 7, then New York, and twenty-three years as a political strategist with The Political Group reading how institutions really decide. That is where he learned people - what makes them say yes, what they fear, what moves them. Most experts spend a career trying to learn it afterward. He started there and added the expertise on top, which is why nothing he teaches sounds like a textbook.
A Texan living in Colombia, working in English and Spanish and learning Chinese, because the AI era does not have borders and neither do its consequences.
His conviction is the through-line of all of it: the people writing the rules of AI and the people doing the work have been strangers for too long. Governance and workforce future-proofing are the same project. GAGE is what it looks like when one person refuses to keep them apart.
